Paper Abstract:      The new information and communication technologies have opened, in teaching and learning area, a wide range of new opportunities. Through them it is possible to adjust and complement the rhythms of people life with personal and professional training needs and knowledge development. With the new information and communication technologies the designated Distance Education has developed significantly through the provision of content, including the use of multimedia technologies, enabling new interactive dynamics between trainers and trainees. The challenge associated with new learning opportunities has been supported by the conviction of teachers, coordinators and pedagogists who believe that each person has unique and important characteristics in the process of knowledge development and, therefore, new teaching must be adapted strategies according to their preferences and capabilities. The capabilities of the young in people society, in their attraction for information and communication technologies and the financial difficulties that this sector has in Portugal led to the present work, the aim is to analyze the acceptance of vocational students in Portugal by new forms of learning and teaching through the use of technology and validate the necessity of considering new strategic conditions with their management rules for a paradigm shift.
